Government Run Health-Neglect.....

Kudos to the former "World's Fattest Man" who, after bypass surgery, dropped 644 lbs.......only to become the "Worlds Biggest Pile of Skin."  For the government run universal health-care system of the United Kingdom, it is not enough that the morbidly obese drop almost three quarters of their near planetary mass; they need it to remain gone for at least 2 years in order to fund the operation that will actually allow them to perform the activity necessary in order to keep it off. This according to the New York Daily News story on Paul Mason.  Weight loss involves the burning of calories in addition to diet and any surgical interventions (in this case Gastric Bypass).  Take a look at these fotos and tell me true if this is a man who is able to exercise?  Get ready America..........This sort of amazingly cerebral health care reasoning is coming next year  to the shores of the good 'ol US of A!

Good luck to you friend.  Hopefully your decision to publish these photos will both pressure the UK health-neglect system into doing the right thing AND scare the USA's upcoming abomination into dissolution! - Tmaxx! (150 lbs)

Horribleness...

Yes, 1st of all I HAVE recorded the new show and am in the process of cutting it together now. So there!
2nd:  I felt moved to comment on a story that I read on rainews24.it last night. I didnt feel like translating it here for everyone so I have not replicated it here (that and I can no longer find it.)It was about 3 incidents in a single day of the sexual assault of several young people throughout Italy one of which the aggressor was met through Facebook (victim was 13 years old.)  (OK......I found it.   http://www.rainews24.rai.it/it/news.php?newsid=162612
I wanted to bring this up only because many people tend to think of this as being a problem primarily for those who live in big American cities.  It is a GLOBAL problem (especially in Europe where internet and cell phone use is more widespread) and ALL of us parents need to be aware of what are kids do online.  This was an attack and the 13 year old certainly didnt ask for nor deserve this BUT had the parents known about her Fbook doings it may not have happened.  I am sure that is what this poor child's parents would have us take from all of this. ( P.S. I love how 5 carabinieri squad cars descended upon the two adult attackers in the 2nd incident!)

Speaking of internet fouls, MY stalkers have racked up a huge number of page views and data "downloaded" from my site here. I should start releasing a weekly total complete with how much time had been spent here each week! (Again guys...I can see all of that.) Just know that it is indeed a favor that I have not forbidden them from seeing it (which is well within my rights as  I have to pay for every letter that reaches their eyeballs) but I am sincerely hoping that some of my genius will rub off.  It MUST be working as the visits have spiked considerably. Make sure to print it out fellas!

Tonight's Show:

This article in Scientific American shall serve as the topic for tonight's show:

Why Interacting with a Woman Can Leave Men "Cognitively Impaired"

In one experiment, just telling a man he would be observed by a female was enough to hurt his psychological performance.

Solar Flares and Whatnot...

We are currently recieving the barrage launched at us by the sun via CME / Solar Flare on March 7.  The predictions are diverse, varied and very difficult to make BUT from what I can gather, we are still being blasted and will continue to be for the rest of the day.  It is still the cover story over at foxnews.com where they are reporting that the brunt of the 'impact' should arrive today.

What does this mean for those of us who do not take joy in the nerdier things in life? Well, those of us who happen to have electricity are at risk of losing it via the outages that accompany these storms.  Surges of energy can travel down power-lines and create a management problem for power companies.  So even if you have a surge protector on the extension cord coming from the neighbors house, it wont help for 2 reasons: a) you will be unable to further steal power from others as they will have none either and b) it is more of a system-wide event rather than merely trailer-wide.  Just in case, it would not be a bad idea to check the batteries in your flashlights etc and other "power bump" devices in the event that the power flickers off.  I seriously do not think this will happen but it never hurts to think ahead (or at all!)

Finally and on a more personal note; aside from wierd space-weather and all of the appointments etc that I have had since my departure from the mining industry, I have got to say that we have not been happier here at home!  It is an odd time to be so but the kids have been happy that and taking advantage of the fact that I am home with them instead of being always up in "onetoothilliterateville." I will still have to make a trip up there in next week or so to gather my things but after that I shouldn't have to concern myself with it ever again! It has been nice getting kids ready for school and welcoming them home and I hope to find me a job here which keeps me close enough to continue to do so. We'll see! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Andrew Breitbart Has Passed....

I really am in shock about this news I awoke to today.  Matt Drudge wrote a moving little bit on his site: drugereport.com . (A rarity that he doe such things) and here is a link to a story off of one of his own sites: (NOT written by Breitbart.....obviously...)

Musical Presidents....

After seeing the second video of Obama singing blues and seeing visions therein of Bill Clinton with his sax on the "Arsenio Hall Show" I decided it would be fun to pose the question on my Facebook account: "if EVERY presidential candidate were to sing / play music on national TV during an election year, which songs would they pick?"  After commenting on my own post like 30 times, I decided it would be best to move the whole topic over here. So please.....add to my list otherwise I am going to keep going for days with this topic. (PS: There is not to be any more saxophone music coming from Bill Clinton.  I asked him personally during the last election cycle.........seriously.) Anyway here is what I have so far:
  • Mitt Romney sings anything by "The Osmands"
  • Newt Gingrich picks: "You're a Mean One Mr Grinch." by The Grinch OR "The Thrill Is Gone" by BB King.
  • Rick Santorum chooses anything by the "New Kids On The Block."
  • Ron Paul sings: "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell and "Basket Case" by Green Day.
  • John Edwards could've picked: "Billy Jean" by Michael Jackson
  • George W. Bush sings "Now I Know My A,B,C's" by his "favordest teacher EVER"
  • Bill Clinton should've picked: "It Wasn't Me" by Shaggy
  • Howard Dean wails "Scream" by Michael Jackson  (Click on link below in case you've forgotten him)
  •                        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yshnhEHBtO4&feature=related
  • Barack Obama can still pick "I'm Sorry" by Patsie Cline or "Oops I Did it Again" by Brittany Spears
  • Dick Cheney tries to sing: "War! What Is Good For? (Absolutely Nothing!) by Edwin Starr but cant get through more than a few bars without laughing. Also in his repetoire is "@#$^%#@" by: Open Mic
  • Al Gore lip syncs: "Weird Science" by Oingo Boingo or "Wild Thing" by The Troggs
  • John McCain and Bob Dole can sing whatever the hell they want because they're war heroes.
  • Jesse Jacskson picks: "Baby Momma" by Lil Boosie
  • Al Sharpton sings: "Hair" by Hair
  • Bill Clinton returns to the stage to sing: "Humpin' Around" by Bobby Brown.
  • Al Gore broadcasts "It Aint Easy Being Green" by Kermit the Frog from his private jet.
Ok folks, take it away!

Spark in the Powder Room .....Again...

It seems that NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization click HERE for Wikipedia definition) is hell bent on keeping things hot in the middle east.  This story broke yesterday and the public outcry from the Middle-East has shocked the world......well, the whole world minus one.
NATO Apologizes for Koran Burning
That story led to this one:
US Embassy in Kabul Closes in Midst of Anti-US Protests
and this one (where I first learned of the whole issue):
Koran on the Stake; US Closes Embassy in Kabul  ("Stake"...as in : "Burned at the stake")
As upsetting and dire as the consequences of this apparent act of  racism / religious oppression may well turn out to be,  it is equally upsetting that this issue was even allowed to come to the public's knowledge.
Here is the skeleton of the story: at the military detention facility at Bagram Air Field in Eastern Afghanistan, copies of the Koran and other religious material were removed from the library's shelves disposed of (burnt) after extremist messages / inscriptions were found in them.  NATO states that they did indeed remove the material from circulation but the burning was inadvertent. Following the breaking of this story, rioting began in Kabul prompting the lock down of the US embassy located in the city and is threatening to worsen.

Before labeling my words quasi-treasonous, hear me out.....

Wow!

I can not believe that I didn't post the big news here on my main site but the....management....ahem....at my place of employment finally fired me.  I actually can not say too much about it as it is an issue that is far from over and my councel has advised me not to "blow any of the many wads" before the correct time so....suffice it to say that this is somewhat a stressful time for us yet strangely "relieving" at the same time.

The last couple of years have been spent constantly having to defend myself for the pettiest of things that even though everything is topsy-turvy, I (for the time being) have lost much of the frustration and anger that comes with certain (let's just say:) "personality types"....yet, being both very adept at as well as very dedicated to my position; there is a certain stress and even grief having lost something that I have had as a huge part of my life for the past 5 years. Oh well, I will keep you posted and speak much more freely as soon as I am advised that I cant booger myself by doing so.

PS:  Oh never mind.

Apollo 1: The Fire That Shocked Nasa (Reproduced from an Article on Yahoo News)

I bet none of you know that I have a connection to the Apollo missions.  No, I am not the result of Nasa research to find a way to pack a huge amount of BS into a 150lb package!  Astronaut Gus Grissom is a relation of mine and quite easily the second most famous and heroic person in my family (after myself of course.)

NASA s Apollo program began with one of the worst disasters the organization has ever faced. A routine prelaunch test turned fatal when a fire ripped through the spacecraft s crew cabin killing all three astronauts. Today marks the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire, a tragic and preventable accident. There were warning signs, similar accidents that had claimed lives both in the United States and abroad. The Apollo 1 crew could have been saved from a gruesome death.

The commander for Apollo 1 was Gus Grissom, one of the original Mercury astronauts whose first spaceflight was marred by his capsule s sinking after splashdown. He flew again in Gemini in a spacecraft he named Molly Brown. Senior pilot on the Apollo 1 crew was Ed White, a Gemini veteran who made America s first spacewalk in 1965. Rounding out the crew was pilot Roger Chaffee, a talented rookie more than capable of holding his own with his experienced crew mates. He was a notoriously good guy who took pains to thank everyone for their contributions to Apollo right down to the janitors.
By the end of January 1967, the crew was going through their final prelaunch tests; barring some major setback, they would make the first manned Apollo flight on February 21. One routine test NASA had done since Mercury was the plugs out test, a final check of the spacecraft s systems.

La Cronaca Trott!!!!! The Trott Report in Italian Is About To Be Born!

Yes you heard that correct....FINALLY You all will be able to hear a show in a language that you all surely understand!  OK, perhaps I am exaggerating a tiny bit.....OK, perhaps I am totally full of merda. It is closer to the truth to say that NONE of my listeners currently speak Italian. No matter. BECAUSE I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH, I am making you all privvy to the insider knowledge that I am about to launch the Italian equivalent of this show and site.  The site has been up as long as this one has but the show has not been recorded yet.   It will be a solo endeavor as Tempestuccia (despite having the Italian monicker / "pen" name ("nickname" for those of you who happen to be siblings or spouses of siblings of my wife!)

What??????? Or Rather: WTF??????

OBAMA SAYS HE (via the US military) HAS POWER TO DETAIN AMERICANS......BUT HE WON'T.

Saw this little tidbit on Drudgereport.com this morning.  Normally this particular website is more for the conspiracy minded but I figured that if it made the Drudge cut then I can run it as well! (Click on the capital letters above for story.)

StormWatch:The Trott Report-"I Paralyzed Myself While D.U.I. but It's Not My Fault."

Listen to Stormwatch: The Trott Report - "DU...I am not at fault"

Today's New Year's Eve show is a subtle reminder to all those partying tonight to please do so responsibly.  In 2009, Chelsea Hess was 20 years old when she went to "shoot billiards" at a local bar.  She claims she was served alcohol in said establishment and then proceeded to drive whilst under the influence of booze.  She ended up making herself into a parapalegic. She is now suing the bar not only for serving her while underage but also for letting her drive. She is also suing the state dept. of transportation for not maintaining the shoulder of the road; a fact that she says forced her to crash as well as pretty much everyone in between for contributing to this awful "tragedy."  Basically, she was the victim of a grand conspiracy to force her into having a drunken crash which took the use of her legs.
At the risk of sounding insensitive, I have to say that if she really is this stupid, perhaps the wheelchair is what she needed to keep her from killing herself or someone else since this chick has zero sense of responsibility.  This one really makes you mad. I don't have alot of sympathy for drunkards who wrap their cars around trees etc anyway but when they then turn and blame everyone else in a manner such as this, I think perhaps she should've lost the ability to move her arms and mouth as well.

Hmmmmm.......

Looking up my name in Bing.com's "images" search engine delivered to me this morning the following gem:
Funny?  Of course.  Yet it begs the question of how this has come to be associated with MY name.  It is not as though I have a very common name at all.  That being said, I really DO wish I had been the one to come up with this. Next time the US govt comes up with a set of regulations that end up facilitating the sexual assault of thousands of innocent geriatrics, disabled persons and children, I will be sure to jump on the joke bandwagon faster instead of being beaten to the punch like what has happened with this image.

THE SHOW IS COMING!!!

I know I have been saying that but I really do mean it!   Things have been rather hectic (for all of us I am sure) and I have not been able to give it the attention it really deserves.  I have a couple of shows recorded but I do not think that they are up to snuff (so to speak) and I don't want to drop those crappy shows upon your virgin ears.  It seems that every time it is time for me to start work on it, something comes up, usually at work (don't even get me started on that one) but sometimes at home which totally kills my masterful creative process.  I was fairly certain no one wants to hear me grumble on about this, that or the other after having been pissed off about some work related issue; thus I abstained for the holidays.  They are largely over now so I am going back to work as I know u are all going through withdrawals!

The Case of Missing Infant Lisa Irwin Part 2: The Suspicious Actions of the Mother

With the parents assistance the KCPD and FBI were finally able to resume a portion of the investigation that had been delayed for three long days. The open window, the one that the abductor presumably utilized to gain entrance to the house, was seen receiving scrutiny by the forensics team as well as various leads that only the parents’ could shed light on were finally able to be sifted through. Though the authorities are mum about it, one question above all hangs above the investigation like a neon billboard, the 800lb gorilla in the room: why, if your child is presumed taken from you in such a statistically rare manner in which every second takes them farther away from home, would the parents choose to “ice out” and ignore for three days the very agencies who alone possess the resources and manpower to find and return their child?

The Case of Missing Infant Lisa Irwin. Part 1: Recap of Events and The Investigation

It’s the eerie silence that accompanies the wee hours of the morning in the big city. Once busy and bustling streets are silent as death as a driver follows his headlights down the barren six lane streets. Every traffic light is green as the lone car passes the shuttered businesses that a mere six hours earlier were filled with thousands of busy tense shoppers.
When the driver went to work, it was a totally different world. The sun was out but a hand-breadth above the horizon , the streets packed with traffic, restaurants filled with hungry families and stopped cars filled with stressed faces as they all fought their way home to finally relax with their spouses, children, pets or parents. Now everything is silent and he is the only soul within sight. He is alone with his headlights and radio as he makes his way back to his house; back to his wife and baby daughter. The still silence reminds him that soon, he will join the legions in slumber; he will reunite with his young family in the sweet sanctity of sleep. The emptiness of the city served as a reminder of the emptiness that beckoned him to hasten his journey home; the vacant city represented a father’s heart as he had missed another sweet night with his beloved family.
The clock had barely struck 4am when he pulled into the driveway of his modest home. He was proud to look upon the house that his strenuous shift has allowed him to offer his family. A persistent longing wished that he could spend more of his waking hours enjoying the fruits of his labor with the ones he cherishes but simply hearing about their happiness and seeing them sleeping comfortably would have to suffice.
As he stepped out of his car and started towards the front door, he noticed that the lights inside were on. He wondered to himself if his wife was having trouble getting his ten month old daughter to sleep. Finding the front door unlocked, he entered the house with a slight irritation at such an oversight to his young family’s security. He proceeded down the hall stopping first at his infant daughter’s room. Upon finding her crib empty, his pace quickened as he stepped towards his own bedroom where he expected to find his wife and child awake together; given the blazing lights, unlocked door and empty crib.
The final steps that carried him into his bedroom would prove to be symbolic of his existence; for they were as though he were walking out of the life he had worked so hard to attain and stepping into a horror of which no words could ever described. There was no baby in bed with his sleeping wife, only their six year old son and a stray kitten they had taken in earlier that day. She seemed unaware of the things that were amiss in the house and the fact that their beloved infant was not where she had last left her. The other older children were roused in the suspicion that perhaps they had brought the child in to their rooms to have a companion with which to pass the evening. The siblings had no idea where their young sister was.
A quick survey of the baby’s room showed that the window had been tampered with and several cell phones usually kept in the kitchen were also missing. The police were frantically summoned; the nightmare had officially begun.

The above narrative is the real-life drama of the abduction of ten month old Lisa Irwin of Kansas City, Missouri. In the wee hours of the morning of Tuesday , October 4th Jeremy Irwin returned home after working the swing shift at his job as an electrician to the scene described above. The child’s mother and Jeremy’s wife Deborah Bradley stated that she was asleep and unaware of any activity that was occurring in the house. The Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) were summoned and they began a very intensive search for little baby Lisa.
